Two case studies of two networked events

This is an exploratory case study in which two networked events that took place in Amsterdam in 1989 and 1990 will be analysed. A networked event entails a gathering of people in a physical space, as well as these people and others not actually present in the physical space gathering in an online environment. This study will draw upon multiple sources and it will use literature and methodologies from a variety of disciplines. As a result, it aims to propose a conceptual framework to support the thinking on the design of presence in social interaction.
